Board Order No. 3 of June 27, 1989
FLAGS. Flags of the United States, State of California and County of Los Angeles, displayed at all County facilities, will be flown at half mast on Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
Board Order No. 67 of November 24, 1992
BOARD ORDERS. The Chief Administrative Officer and Department Heads shall follow Board adopted orders unless a change is specifically authorized by the Board. In those instances where each Board member receives a written notice from a Department Head of proposed changes in a Board Order, and no member of the Board objects to the proposed changes a Department Head is authorized to make the proposed changes without further authorization from the Board. This procedure can only be utilized if it does not violate the Brown Act. The Department Head must file a copy of his/her written notice to the Board with the Executive Officer of the Board.
Board Order No. 54 of October 20, 1992
CLOSED SESSION MINUTES. The Executive Officer of the Board shall keep and make available to each Board member, confidential minutes of all issues discussed and decided in Closed Sessions of the Board. If after review by a Board member, a problem is noted in the minutes, the minutes will be reviewed and, if necessary, corrected at the next Closed Session.
Board Order No. 61 of April 12, 1994
BOARD AGENDA ITEMS AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS. The Executive Officer of the Board shall enforce existing policy that no item may be placed on the published Board agenda until related documents are on file, except that when an emergency situation exists and documentation is not available, the agenda will indicate that fact and also shall indicate that the documentation will be available by the time of the meeting.
