AUTHORITY
Act 9095, Section 51 et seq. of the Water Uncodified Acts.
APPOINTMENT
Elected. The Board of Supervisors appoints at the request of the District, in lieu of an election, if only one person or no one is nominated for each office.
Starting with the 1966 elections, the Board of Supervisors of Kern County will appoint, as most of the District lies in that area.
TERM OF OFFICE
Four years. The expiration date is the first Monday in January.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a resident of the Division from which elected or appointed.
DUTIES
Act 9095 of Section 61 of the Water Uncodified Acts sets forth the powers and duties of the agency.
