AUTHORITY *
Section 71000 et seq. of the Water Code; and Section 20200 et seq. of the Water Code.
APPOINTMENT
Elected. The Board of Supervisors appoints at the request of the District, in lieu of an election, if only one person or no one is nominated for each office.
TERM OF OFFICE
Four years.
COMPENSATION
Not to exceed $100.00 per day for not more than a total of 10 days in any calendar month.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a resident of the Division of the District from which he is elected or appointed.
DUTIES
Each District has the powers generally to perform all acts necessary or proper to carry out fully the provisions of Sections 71590 through 71600 of the Water Code.
