About the Customer Service Center

The Executive Office of the Board of Supervisors' objective is to provide customers with easy access to quality information and services.  The Executive Office's Customer Service Center provides an unprecedented level of efficiency and service to constituents by incorporating a variety of new technologies.  These technologies allow members of the public far greater access to information regarding Los Angeles County and other government agencies.


Claims for Damages to Person or Property

A signed, written claim shall be presented to the County of Los Angeles by mailing or delivering it to the Executive Officer-Clerk of the Board of Supervisors by the claimant or by the claimant's authorized agent. 

A claim for death, injury to person or to personal property must be filed not later than 6 months after the occurence. (Government Code Section 911.2)

All other Claims for Damages must be filed not later than one year after the occurrence. (Government Code Section 911.2)

Presentation of a False Claim is a Felony (Penal Code Section 72)
