This office provides administrative and ministerial support to the Countywide Criminal Justice Coordination Committee (CCJCC) and roughly 20 subcommittees and work groups, including the Information Systems Advisory Board (ISAB). Additionally, the staff assist the committee in preparation of planning documents, conduct basic research, develop multi-agency projects, prepare special reports to the Board, provide technical assistance to committee member departments and develop proposals for grant funds.
The mission of the CCJCC and its staff is to promote improvements in the local criminal justice system and to foster interagency cooperation and coordination. The Information System Advisory Board (ISAB) is a multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional policy sub-committee of CCJCC established in 1982 to oversee the coordination, planning and development of major justice information systems. Comprising public officials and key justice leaders from municipal, County, State and Federal government, CCJCC is a policy-level advisory body which provides leadership in the development of countywide planning efforts, establishment of special programs and pilot projects and the formulation of collaborative solutions to systemwide problems. In 1995, the CCJCC and ISAB staff merged administratively with the Executive Office.
